Objectives

Our Objectives

To make, develop, maintain and promote museums and such other institutions for collection, preservation and display of gem stones, minerals, artifacts and jewellery of all types and other related items of the trade and make them available for public viewing.

To impart education in the field of gemstones and jewellery, their classifications, how they are formed, optical properties, causes of colors in gemstones, inclusions, fluorescent minerals, etc as well as process of cutting/polishing of gemstones and manufacturing of various types of jewellery in collaboration with Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) and Jewellers Association Jaipur (JAJ).

To conduct, organize, undertake and participate in national and international workshops, invite scholars, conduct symposiums, seminars, conferences, chat shows and other such events in the field of gems and jewellery and ancillaries in and outside India for educational purposes.

To make, develop, maintain and promote a “Gem Park - Rock Garden” to display large sculptures, rocks, etc. and to conduct various educational activities and games for children.

Upliftment of workers especially young generation by the way of education and awareness in the field of gemstones and jewellery.

Above mentioned objectives will also assist in achieving the following Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of various corporates as required under Schedule VII of Companies Act, 2013:

Promoting education, including special education and employment enhancing vocational skills especially among children, women, elderly and the differently abled and livelihood enhancement projects.

Protection of national heritage, art and culture including restoration of buildings and sites of historical importance and works of art; setting up of public libraries; promotion and development of traditional arts and handicrafts.
